The Avalon Fm 40/50 Series Fetal And Maternal Monitors
Are the first and only to offer automated coincidence detection (cross-channel verification) using Smart Pulse. This innovative feature allows automated maternal pulse detection via the Toco MP transducer* without the need to monitor maternal SpO2 or ECG separately. Please note: Toco MP, Rev G.0 software, and trace interpretation are not available in FDA-regulated territories.

The Avalon Fm 20/30 Series Fetal And Maternal Monitors
Are the first and only to offer automated coincidence detection (cross-channel verification) using Smart Pulse. This innovative feature allows automated maternal pulse detection via the Toco MP transducer without the need to monitor maternal SpO2 or ECG separately.

The Avalon Cordless Transducer System (CTS)
Helps transform labor and delivery, offering mothers and care teams the flexibility they seek by allowing comfortable, continuous fetal and maternal monitoring with exceptional mobility. Avalon CTS helps provide a constant and clear picture of patient status for confident decision-making.

  The Multi-Measurement Module
Provides real-time waveforms and numeric values for the “standard of care” measurements most often used in hospitals – ECG, respiration, SpO2, non-invasive blood pressure, and invasive pressure or temperature.
For transport, it can be connected to a portable monitor or disconnected. At the bedside, it can be connected to any IntelliVue patient monitor without switching cables, rezeroing the unit, or adjusting settings.
The Multi-Measurement Module stores patient demographics and up to eight hours of patient trend data, as well as calibration and measurement settings.

  The Anesthetic Gas Module (AGM)
Uses infrared absorption technology to measure the five most commonly used anesthetic gases, plus N2O and CO2. Oxygen is measured using a paramagnetic technique.  The AGM displays numerics, trends, real-time waveforms, and alarms on the patient monitor screen.

  Noninvasive ventilation (NIV)
Has become a standard of care for respiratory insufficiency. When compared to invasive ventilation, NIV is associated with lower rates of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) and reduced hospital costs. Philips family of Respironics noninvasive ventilators are designed specifically for NIV, so they are easy to operate and provide excellent synchrony.
