We are proud that our associate company, MedicWorld Sdn Bhd, supported a large-scale Philips Avalon fetal and maternal monitoring installation for the Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) Department at a hospital in Sarawak.
The setup comprises Philips Avalon FM20 and FM30 monitors, the Philips IntelliSpace Perinatal (ISP) Central System, and Philips Lumify Ultrasound, forming a complete monitoring solution for the labour suite, maternity wards, and isolation rooms.
Project Overview
The Head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department engaged our team to plan the new labour suite and maternity wards for the hospital’s new block project.
After reviewing the Philips ISP Central System configuration we implemented for another new hospital in 2022, the hospital proceeded with our proposal for a full Philips monitoring system.
The installation connects Avalon FM20 and FM30 monitors to the Philips ISP Central System with a 60-inch LCD display for centralised viewing and data management, enabling continuous monitoring and real-time visibility across the department.
We also supplied Philips Lumify Ultrasound, providing portable imaging support for quick bedside use in the labour suite and maternity areas.
From proposal and budgeting to delivery, installation, and testing & commissioning, the project was successfully completed in collaboration with Philips Malaysia and Philips APAC.
