On 3rd July 2025, Medik-Link celebrated a major milestone — 30 years of serving Malaysia’s medical and dental community — with a memorable dinner at Hilton Petaling Jaya.
It was an evening of warmth, gratitude, and reflection, shared with our valued partners, suppliers, and especially the many dental professionals who have walked this journey with us.
From a single vision in 1995 to becoming one of Malaysia’s trusted dental and medical equipment suppliers, this dinner was a meaningful tribute to the people, passion, and progress that brought us here — and to the future we’ll continue building together.

🏁 Where It All Began – 1995
Our story began in 1995 with a simple but powerful moment.
Our Founder, Mr. Foong Kam Seng, a young service engineer, met Mr. Lee Yew Shin — a visionary who saw his potential and offered him the opportunity to build something of his own. With trust and determination, Medik-Link was born.
We started by supplying medical equipment and providing technical service support — all grounded in a belief in doing things right. That early spark of purpose and passion still drives us, 30 years on.
💪 Resilience in the Early Years – 1997
Just two years in, the 1997 recession put us to the test.
We were a small team with a big dream — and despite the challenges, we achieved RM1 million in sales. It wasn’t easy, but with the support of our customers, partners, and team, we pulled through.
That early trial shaped the resilient spirit that still defines Medik-Link today — steady, determined, and committed to those we serve.
🦷 A New Chapter – Entering Dental (2003)
In 2003, a single moment sparked a new direction.
While reading Dental Asia, Mr. Foong came across a KaVo dental chair — and it caught his eye. That moment led to the launch of our Dental Department later that year.
We began with trusted partners like Dürr Dental and Planmeca, marking our entry into the dental world.
Today, we proudly support dental clinics and professionals across Malaysia — from innovative equipment and dental clinic setup consultation to trusted after-sales service that evolves with the industry.
🤝 Growth Through Collaboration – 2009 to 2010
Our journey began in Kuching, Sarawak, where we first supported the local medical community.
As we grew, we expanded to Kuala Lumpur to better serve clients across Peninsular Malaysia.
In 2009, we partnered with Mr. Isaac Lim to establish Medik-Link (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, followed by a collaboration with Mr. Robert Chia in 2010 to form MedicWorld Sdn Bhd in Sarawak.
These strategic partnerships expanded our footprint and strengthened our ability to serve both medical and dental professionals across Malaysia.
